Yes, the picture you see above is of a map in-built Minecraft. It’s simply part of a large life like terrain project which provides 16 square kilometers of different topography for you to build on. It’s a gorgeous assortment of deserts, mountains, swamps, and forests which you can obtain and use as a backdrop for your personal Minecraft builds.
The map is called Kythor, and it was constructed by qwryzu over the course of round two months of work utilizing World Machine and World Painter. “I deliberately made this map with giant open areas for constructing,” qwryzu says, “specifically with mods (shoutout Immersive Railroading gang). It isn't the most detail dense map I have ever made, as I hope that the map serves as a superb backdrop for giant builds.”
You'll be able to download the map for yourself over on Planet Minecraft. It’s accessible for Java Edition, and while it was built in 1.12.2, it must be compatible with any present version - although qwryzu isn’t positive if the world height modifications in 1.17 would possibly cause points.
